Requires a BIG AI contract. If BIG AI is not active on your account, this feature will not appear.
Where it lives
Open the loan, open the BIG AI assistant, and ask about the borrower's bank statements. There is no separate screen and nothing to switch on beyond BIG AI itself.
What it does
BIG AI can now review up to twelve months of a borrower's bank statements in a single question. Before this, an income review came back a few statements at a time and you stitched the answers together yourself.
- Up to 15 statements can be covered in one question.
- BIG AI works from a compact summary of each statement — account, statement period and deposits — which is how a full year fits into one request.
- It works on existing loans. Statements uploaded before this release are summarised the first time BIG AI needs them, so there is nothing to re-upload.
The obvious use is a bank statement loan, where the income picture only makes sense across the whole period. Ask for the year rather than month by month.
Access and privacy
BIG AI only reads documents the person asking is already allowed to see, so an answer reflects your own access rather than everything on the file. Account numbers are shown by their last four digits only.
If an answer stops short
When a question covers more document content than BIG AI can read at once, it now answers from what it has read and offers to continue, instead of ending without an answer. Take the offer rather than re-asking from the start.
If BIG AI cannot find a document a borrower uploaded through a task, see article 61 for where task uploads are filed.
