The Big POS Implementation

Required Files:

  • DocuSign Encompass Plugin [.dll]

  • DocuSign Custom Data Object [.json]

Docusign Integration Setup Instructions

Please follow the steps below to complete your Docusign integration with Encompass:

  1. Upload Integration Files

    • Log into Input Form Builder.

    • Upload the provided .dll and .json files using the designated upload form.

  2. Create Document Buckets in Encompass

    • Open Encompass and navigate to the document bucket configuration.

    • Create the following two document buckets:

      • Docusign Bucket

      • Docusign Completed

      • You should be able to type into the “Name” field and check the box for “Keep copy of original format” for Docusign Bucket

  3. Restart Encompass

    • Fully close and restart Encompass to ensure the new settings are applied.

  4. Test the Integration

    • Open a test loan file in Encompass.

    • Upload a test document into the Docusign Bucket with the steps below

    • Click on eFolder

    • Add a new Document

    • Click OK

    • Use the “Name” Selection and go to “Docusign Bucket” for

    • Upload test loan

    • In the POS Dashboard, click the “Send Docusign” button.

  5. Authorize Docusign Account

    • The first time you try sending, you may see an error due to missing permissions.

    • A browser window will pop up prompting you to log in with the Docusign account credentials.

    • Enter the username and password for the account you'd like to use, then click Authorize.

  6. Complete the Test

    • Return to Encompass.

    • Re-upload a test document to the Docusign Bucket.

    • Try sending the document again via the “Send Docusign” button. It should now work correctly.
