# Where loan officers sign their own portion of disclosures

Loan officers regularly look for their own signature step inside BIG POS and cannot find it. It is not there. Borrower signing happens in the POS portal; loan officer signing happens in Encompass.

## Where to sign

Sign in to Encompass and use the **eSign packages** button on the file. Your portion of the disclosures — the Loan Estimate and anything else needing your signature — is signed from there. This is the same whether the package went to the borrower through BIG POS or elsewhere, and whether it is an initial disclosure or a re-disclosure.

## Why no email arrives

You will not receive an invite email for your own signature the way a borrower does, and the borrower completing their part does not trigger anything to you. Check the file in Encompass rather than waiting for a notification.

## Adding a shortcut to your dashboard

An e-sign packages tile can be added to the LO dashboard in BIG POS so the step is easier to reach. It is configured per site by an admin — ask your admin or raise a ticket if you would like it added.

## Intent to proceed and other borrower steps

Intent to proceed, e-consent and the borrower's own signatures are separate from your signing step and are completed by the borrower in the portal. A file waiting on intent to proceed is waiting on the borrower, not on you.

## If you cannot find the button

Which options appear in Encompass depends on the role you are signed in with. If a colleague sees the eSign packages button and you do not, that is a role difference in Encompass, and your Encompass administrator is the right person to ask.
