The borrower has a Big POS account, the loan is visible, but the package cannot be opened from the portal. Several lenders mid-migration hit this in the same week. ## Why the package cannot simply be moved A package stays tied to the channel and the site it was issued from. There is no way to transfer an already issued package into the portal afterwards. If one borrower has signed through the old channel, the package also cannot be reset so the other can sign in a different one. ## The two options **Finish as started.** Simplest where signing is already underway or time-critical. Send the borrower back to the original link and complete there. **Move the file, then reissue.** Only viable when nothing has been signed yet. In Encompass, open the file, go to the Big POS Dashboard and the **Diagnostics** tab, confirm the Site ID is correct and the Big POS checkbox is ticked, then save. Invite the borrowers, and ask your disclosure desk to reissue. ## Issuing the right way from here on Issue from the eDisclosure packages in the usual way. Packages created through webdoc workflows do not produce a portal link and are not reachable from the borrower's account. The tell is a loan where Encompass shows disclosures issued but the portal shows no package link at all. ## Worth checking across the pipeline A migration can leave a batch of files carrying a legacy Site ID. If you find one, it is worth auditing the affected period rather than correcting files as borrowers report them.
